Hi everyone! For January, February and March, Moral Imaginations is teaming up with The Long Time Project (https://www.thelongtimeproject.org/) to bring our practices to their Long Time Community - a community of people engaging in long-termism and long time thinking. I recommend having a look at Long Time Project's work - they have done incredible work building this capacity in arts and culture organisations like the BBC, and have also worked with policymakers.
We will be hosting a series of workshops for the community introducing how to cultivate long time thinking through embodied, imaginal, ethical and emotional practices. Moral Imagination is a methodology that widens the circle of concern, stretching the perception of time and interrelatedness to future generations as well as non-human species.
Is your work engaged in long-termism, future generations or expanded thinking about time? Do you know people who are working on this and should be involved? Let us know! We are helping the Long Time Project build its community, practices and networks and we would appreciate you sharing our invitation with anybody in this field!
